Facebook Strategy for Business | Sales From Facebook!

Facebook Strategy for Business | Sales From Facebook!

– Hey, hey friends, in this video we are talking
about the F word, Facebook. – Facebook, that’s right. And more specifically how
in a world that’s forever changing it’s features, and that pesky algorithm, do we create a Facebook
strategy for business that actually works to get you sales? – Because it is still possible. In fact we’ve got four ways to
generate sales from Facebook coming right up in this video. – Let’s do this, whooo! (explosion) – All right, we’ve got four ways to get sales from
Facebook coming right up. So we are not hanging about. Number one, use Facebook
Messenger marketing. If you’re serious about
using Facebook for business, then you cannot ignore Messenger Bots, Facebook’s newest kid on the block. – Messenger Bots got a bad
reputation when they came out because a lot of marketers basically just used them to spam people. Bad marketers. The thing is it’s not the
same as email broadcasting and spamming people. We need to think about
it more as chat marketing or conversational marketing,
i.e., a way to actually have conversations with real, prospects. I.e., how are we having
conversations with real prospects, with real people? – And yes we can automate some of this. Tools like ManyChat are
really, really awesome and make chat bots really easy. But think of it this way, automation should only be used if it benefits the customer. For example, if we can use automation to answer questions quicker, then great everyone wins. But if we use automation because we’re lazy and want to do less work or no work to the
detriment of our customers, then that’s bad. Bad, bad marketers. – Bad, bad, you tell them Andrew. Yeah, bad marketers. – We got a whole video over there on conversational marketing, and how to use it effectively. Definitely go give that one a watch. – Yeah, yeah, but not yet, not yet because we’ve still got three other ways to get business from Facebook, so stay tuned, watched
the video at the end. – Good point, good point. – Number two is to use your Facebook page to drive traffic – Now we know traffic from Facebook isn’t what it used to
be and the golden edge of sending a bigillion
hits to your flash sites on internet explorer but it is still possible to send traffic to your products and services. – If you want to do this organically without having to spend money on ads then you have to give
Facebook something else. Content that people actually like. Facebook wants people to enjoy their time spent on Facebook. So if what you are trying to
do is just send people away elsewhere off Facebook then first you need to give Facebook a little bit of something
and that’s content. So you need to spend time
developing that trust with your fans on Facebook creating content like videos, live videos, images, texts, getting conversations started, basically enjoying their self consuming content on Facebook. – ‘Cause as you get more organic reach and build a more engaged audience then links to your products and services will in turn get more organic reach too. And actually, you should
definitely check out another video that we did. We’ll put the link over there because we talked about
how to actually get organic reach when you’re actually
talking about your products and your services too. So definitely go check that one out. – Say, yeah but not yet, not yet we still got two more ways to go so check it out at the end of the video. – Okay, yeah, good point, yeah. – The end. Number three, participate
in relevant Facebook groups or make your own. Do you know where you can
still get pretty good Facebook organic reach?
Facebook groups! You can almost look at Facebook Groups like an online version of an
in person networking event, where you would go not as a brand but as yourself and
have real conversations with real people, one to one. – This is a great way to network. It’s a great way to
meet potential customers and depending on the group rules, it’s even a great way to talk about your products and services. So if you want to build
relationships with people in your industry, then
join some industry groups and participate in them daily or set up your own, that way
you can definitely promote your own stuff and
actually we have another– – Wait really another? – Yeah, yeah, yeah we have
another video on Facebook groups versus Facebook pages and how they differ and how to build a strategy for each. You should go check that
one out over there– – I mean it’s great but not yet. Not yet, we still got one more way. Check it out at the end
of the video people. The fourth business strategy for Facebook is remarketing. You can do remarketing
in lots of different ways and different platforms but on Facebook it’s so easy, which is
why it’s our favourite. – Now this is a paid strategy, but if it’s done well it
can be really effective. Basically, the Facebook ads platform let’s you serve ads to
more relevant people. People who have already
shown some kind of interest in your product or service or brand but not bought yet. For example, people who have
watched your sales video or engaged with your content or been to your sales pages can be served ads based
on what they’ve done to get them to complete that transaction or even going back to
point one in this video can be served ads to get them to engage with your Facebook Messenger bot. – Remarketing is the most effective way to use Facebook ads because the audience is already warm to you. And you know what’s the
best thing about this is that we haven’t even done a video about this yet. Have we? So you can’t go telling them
to bugger off now can you? – Actually Pete, actually
like we haven’t personally done a video on this, no but do you remember a few
weeks ago we had Gavin Bell on the channel like doing a takeover and he did a video just
about this exactly, remember? Like how to set up these ads, it was really awesome. Guys if you haven’t seen that video, definitely go check that one out. – But not yet, ’cause we have not even finished the video yet. – But Pete this is the end of the video. – No, it’s not we have to tell them to like go and subscribe
and like and comment the video and we have to tell them that you’re Andrew and I’m Pete and that we’ll be back later and like, they can’t, they shouldn’t go and watch these other videos fast. – But you just told them all of that just then so if they’re still watching now then they might as well go
watch one of those four videos. I mean I put the links in the comments too so you might as well just go watch. – Fine, just go. You can go watch all those videos now and you know what? I’m out of here too. I’m going to go. I’m going to go watch the videos too. – Pete, Pete, don’t, don’t– bye guys! Have good stuff.
